Kamakhya Temple Darshan Timings: 5:30 to 1.00 pm and 2.30 pm to 10:00 PM

The General Darshan Timings of Kamakhya Temple at Guwahati (Assam) are as follows.
5:30 AM : Snana of the Pithasthana.
6:00 AM : Nitya pooja.
8:00 AM : Temple doors are opened for the pilgrims.
1:00 PM : Temple doors are closed for distribution of prasadam among the pilgrims.
2:30 PM : Temple doors are reopens for the pilgrims.
5:30 PM : Aarati of Goddess, Temple doors closed for the night.

On Special occasion like Durga Pooja and other festivals the timings are changed without notice.

# Durga Puja is celebrated for five days during October-November every year, lakhs of visitors visit on the days at Kamakhya Temple.

# Every year Ambubachi Mela is held in the month of July. Ambubachi Mela is celebrated for four Days, visitors from all over the country visit this temple in seek of goddess blessings on the last day.

About the Temple:
The Kamakhya mandir is a famous and ancient temple located in Nilachal Hill, Guwahati, Assamese. Kamakhya Temple is also known as Kamrup-Kamakhya, this temple is dedicated to mother goddess Kamakhya and is one of the 51 Shakti Pithas. The main temple in a complex of individual temples dedicated to the ten Mahavidyas: Kali, Tara, Sodashi, Bhuvaneshwari, Bhairavi, Chhinnamasta, Dhumavati, Bagalamukhi, Matangi and Kamala. Among these, Tripurasundari, Matangi and Kamala reside inside the main temple whereas the other seven reside in individual temples.
