Siddeshwara Swamy Temple is in the small town of Hemavathi nearby Amarapuram, Anantapur district, Andhra Pradesh. Here Lord Siva appears in human form and is rare to find this form of Idol. There are Four famous Lord Siva shrines that were built and patronized by Pallavas during the 7th and 8th centuries. The four shrines are Siddeswara, Virupaksheswara, Malleswara & Doddeswara. This temple has both Pallava and Chola’s style of architecture.
Sri Siddeswara Swamy, Sri Vinayaka Swamy, Sri Kalabairava Swamy, Sri Malleswara Swamy, Sri Virupaksheswara Swamy and Sri Doddeswara Swamy are the other deities worshiped in this temple.
