10000 Dwadasi tickets

Vaikuntha vishnuFrom 24 December 2014 10,000 “VAIKUNTA DWADASI 2015” tickets are available online.
Vaikuntha Ekadashi is also known as Mukkoti Ekadasi and Swargavathil Ekadasi in Kerala.

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam decided to issue 10000 Dwadasi tickets online from 24 December 2014 for the darshan of Sri Venkateswara Swamy on the day of “VAIKUNTA DWADASI 2015”. The ticket is 300 Rs and online tickets will be issued from 09:00 AM onwards on 24-Dec-2015. This arrangement was made considering the huge number of devotes on the occasion of new year, Dwadasi and Ekadasi. The devotes will have a hassle free speedy Darshan of Lord Venkateshwara Swamy.

Vaikunta Ekadasi is celebrated with great importance in tirumala Venkateshwara Swamy Temple, Srirangam Ranganathaswamy Temple, and at Bhadrachalam Sita Ramachandraswamy temple. Apart from these temples, all Vishnu temples in South India will celebrate Vaikunta Ekadasi.

The most important ritual on this day is the opening of the Vaikuntam Dwaram (Vaikuntam door) in all Vishnu Temples. This door is only opened on the Vaikunta Ekadasi day and devotees are allowed to pass through it. Symbolically the door leads to the Vaikuntam – home of Sri Vishnu.

Tirumala Temple Darshan Timings on Vaikuntha Ekadashi:
VIP Darshan Timings: 1:45 am to 5:00 am
Sarva Darshan Timings: 5:00 am to till midnight
On the occasion of the festival days(1/1/2015 / 2/1/2015), TTD will issue Two extra laddus to the devotes.
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam has cancelled all Arjitha Sevas on the days of Vaikunta Ekadasi and Vaikunta Dwadasi.
Online Quota for Rs.300 tickets “Special Entry Darshan” will not be released for 30/12/2014 to 4/1/2015.
