About New Jersey ISKCON of Central:

ISKCON as an organization has more than 400 temples around the world. The Central New Jersey ISKCON (Sri Sri Radha Krishna Temple and Cultural Center) has been serving the central New Jersey community since 2004.

We participate in regular community programs and Bhakti-Yoga festivals, youth development programs (including at Rutgers University), systematic presentation and application of Bhagavad-Gita in the community. personal life.

ISKCON of Central New Jersey shares the message of Gaudiya-Vaishnava sampradāya with the community of Central New Jersey. Philosophically, it is based on the Sanskrit texts Bhagavad-gita and Bhagavat Purana, or Srimad Bhagavatam. These are the historical texts of the devotional bhakti yoga tradition, which teaches that the ultimate goal for all living beings is to rekindle their love for God, or Lord Krishna, the “all-attractive”.

The Sunday festival, the science of bhakti-yoga, the Krishna children’s program, dramas, dance, pure vegetarian cuisine, Samskaras, Home Meetings and the Japa Conference are some of the services we offer.

Our goal is to make new temple facilities a spiritual university for the systematic study of Bhakti-Yoga, an educational institution that promotes spiritual and moral values for children and youth, a yoga center to share the art of meditation a lot more!

Our newly acquired temple at 1020 W. 7th Street, Plainfield, NJ 07063 opens its arms to everyone.

New Jersey ISKCON of Central Sunday Feast Program:

You are invited to the Sunday Party Program every Sunday!
There is a adorable and purifying arati (worship) and kirtana (devotional song). Everyone participates, singing and dancing hand in hand. Krishna-katha (speech / lecture on Holy Scripture topics such as Bhagavad Gita, Srimad Bhagavatam, etc.) and discussion are absorbing because they are instructive. The Krishna Kids Vedic Sunday School is so popular that many parents must “come for the good of the children”.

Devotees of all ages gather in groups singing to the Lord and playing classical instruments while dancing happily with music. However, the atmosphere is prayerful and respectful. A delicious pure vegetarian feast of prasadam (sanctified food) served to all, always abundant, always wonderful.

The Center offers a week’s break from taxes at home or at work; for many, it’s also a fun day for their children. Join us and see what the Center has to offer! Please join us with your friends and family for our weekly program, then enjoy a delicious, pure vegetarian meal.

The program is always free and open to everyone.
