The Swayambhu Chennakesava Swamy Temple contains garbhagriha and antarala which is connected with 28 pillared mandapa. It has two entrances from north side and south side. The height of the elevation was nearly 50 to 60 feet from road. This temple is situated in the flat top of the elevation. The people used to call this chennakesava swamy as Chandrayangutta.
The Chennakesava Swamy Murthy temple was sculpture on a boulder with ornaments. On the door jambs of the garbhagriha, vaishnavite dwarapalsa. The jaya and vijaya are sculpture. There is a lintel portion of antaral. We can see the sculpture images of sheshasai Vishnu, Sankacharka and Vaishnavite with great skills and finesse. The temple was built on 18th century A.D. during the post vijayanagara period.
How to Reach:
From Mahatma Gandhi Bus stop you can reach this temple and there is a road which is leading to srisailam in Chandrayangutta (v), of Bandlaguda (M), Hyderabad. The Hyderabad city is well connected from different parts of India by road ways, railways and air ways.

Ramalingeswara Swamy Temple, Andal Temple, Alvars Temple, village deities and Sri Anjaneya Swamy with four arms, towards north direction on the hill.
