Rathha Saptami January 26-1-2015 – Tirumala Tirupati Schedule – Radha Sapthami Festival Date Jan 26th – Surya Jayanthi. TTD announced the Ratha Sapthami celebration schedule which is celebrated on January 26, 2015 (Monday), the Shukla Paksha Saptami Tithi/Lunar day (7th day from No Moon Day) in the Maagha (Jan – Feb) month.
Surya Jayanti is on RathaSapthami. Surya Deva is the child of Rishi Kashyapa and Adhithi. In Temples, Surya Prabha Vahana Seva will be held in the morning.
Tirumala Brahmotsavam Schedule:
The one-day Brahmotsavam is being held on Ratha Sapthami. The devotees can have dharshan / worship of the Lord Sri Venkateshwara on seven Vahanas (Vehicles) Sevas from early morning till night.
The sevas are as follows:
- Surya Parbha Vahanam by 5.30 am
- Chinna Sesha Vahanam by 9.00 am
- Garuda Vahanam by 11.00 am
- Hanumantha Vahanam by 1.00 pm
- Chakrasnanam to Sri Chakrathalwar by 2.00 pm
- Kalpa Vriksha Vahanam by 4.00 pm
- Sarva Bhoopala Vahanam by 6.00 pm
- Chandra Prabha Vahanam by 8.00 pm
