16 February 2015 Srinivasa Mangapuram, Tirupati: The Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy temple at Srinivasa Mangapuram is all set prepared for one more massive occasion of “Rathotsavam” as part of the ongoing brahmotsavam on the penultimate day of the mega spiritual occasion.
Rathotsavam has a big place in every Sri Vaishnavaite temple particularly in Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam maintained temples as Ratha Yatra is an important part of the ritual of the Hindu system of worship. Rath Yatra being distinctive amongst all Yatras is the grandest festival of the supreme divinity who has manifested himself in the Kali Yuga to emancipate humanity and to relieve them from their sufferings.
Rathotsavam will probably be observed between 8am to 9:30am on Tuesday in Srinivasa Mangapuram.
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam has made elaborate safety preparations to avoid any kind of untoward incident through the huge chariot pulling by multitude of devotees.
