It is believed that Lord Venkateswara and his consort, Goddess Padmavathi, got married at this temple, hence the name Kalyana Venkateswara.   2. Vasanthotsavam: This is a spring festival that is celebrated in the month of Chaitra (March-April). During this festival, the temple is decorated with colorful flowers, and the deity is adorned with beautiful flower garlands.
  3. Pavitrotsavam: This is a 3-day festival that takes place in the month of Shravana (July-August). During this festival, a holy thread is tied around the temple and the deity, and several poojas and rituals are performed.
  4. Pushpayagam: This is a flower festival that is celebrated in the month of Bhadrapada (August-September). During this festival, the deity is offered a variety of flowers, and the temple is decorated with colorful flower arrangements.
  5. Teppotsavam: This is a 5-day festival that takes place in the month of Kartika (October-November). During this festival, the deity is taken on a procession on a beautifully decorated boat, and several poojas and rituals are performed.

These festivals attract a large number of devotees from all over the world who come to the temple to seek blessings and offer their prayers to Lord Venkateswara. The atmosphere during these festivals is electric, and it is a sight to behold.
