Sri Kshethra Dharmasthala Sri Manjunatha Swamy Temple doors open every morning at 4.00 AM to meet the spiritual needs and karmic enlightenment of every devotee who comes in the hope of returning enlightened by his only presence in the house of Dharma. The temple follows a strict routine to allow each devotee to have an ecstatic rendezvous with Lord Sri Manjunatha Swamy while following the obligatory rituals in the temple.
Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Poojas in Detail:
6:30 AM to 11.00 AM – Darshan:
The sanctuary opens to the devotees, after the Vedic cleansing of the Idol and temple premises. The shrine is open to darshan all day. The main shrine doors will be closed for Mahapoojas.
8:30 AM to 10:30 AM – Shatharudra Abhisheka & Pooja:
The Shatharudra Abhisheka pooja is hailed by all vedic scriptures as one of the greatest Poojas to eliminate all evil and attain prosperity. This pooja is important because Lord Rama worshiped Lord Shiva in Rudra before crossing the sea to seek blessings. Darshana continues with.
11:00 AM – Shiva Sahasranamavali:
Shiva sahasranamavali is a way of singing praises and praising Lord Shiva in his different forms. Taking the names of Lord Shiva in all its forms reinforces his belief in his power.
11:30 AM – Maha Naivedya Samarpana:
Maha Naivedya is the food offered to Lord Manjunatha Swamy as part of the ritual of worship, without tasting or eating at the same time. Annadana begins after maha naivedya to the lord.
12:00 Noon – Maha Pooja:
Mahapuja is a very detailed pooja, decorating the idol with all natural Vedic decorations after the abhisheka, singing Vedic hymns, playing Vedic instruments together. A complete revolution of the temple is taken and, therefore darshana will be stopped during this pooja.
12:15 PM to 2:30 PM – Darshana:
After daily rituals, darshana continues until the end of line Q or at 2:30 pm.
5.00 PM to 8:30 PM – Darshana:
The Shrine opens for Darshana.
8.30 PM – Maha Pooja:
Evening maha pooja is a very elaborate pooja performed by decorating the Idol with all natural vedic decoratives, chanting vedic hymns, vedic instruments being played alongside.
12:10 PM & 8:45 PM – Nithyabali:
Lord Sri Manjunathaswamy utsavamoorthy will be conducted 3 times a day there will be 5 rounds. So darshan will be stopped at this time.
Note:
Dharmasthala Temple Timings may change on special days and on festival days.
Children below the age of 2 years are not allowed inside the sanctum sanctorum.
Breakfast will be offered in the queue line during crowded days.
Restrooms are available alongside the queue line.

Male devotees should remove their shirt and vest before they enter the Sanctum Sanctorum.
Men: White Pancha, Dhoti. Shirt, T-shit and Banians are not allowed. Pant are allowed.
Female: Saree with blouse/ Punjabi Dress with Dupatta / Chudidhar with Dupatta / Half saree
