Amarnath Board Launches Online Services:
Vice Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha has launched several online services of the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Council to provide a personal experience for devotees.
“For millions of devotees who cannot visit the sacred cave of Shri Amarnath Temple this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Shrine Board has put the Darshan, Hawan and Prasad facilities in virtual mode. Devotees can book their Pooja, Hawan, and Prasad online, and the holy cave priests will offer it on behalf of the devotee. Prasad will be delivered to the devotees’ doors later, “a board spokesperson said.
Amarnath Board Online Services Price Details:
Rs 1,100 for virtual pooja
Rs 1,100 for prasad booking (with 5 gm silver coin of Amarnathji),
Rs 2,100 for prasad booking (with 10 gm silver coin of Amarnathji),
Rs 5,100 for the special hawan or combination of any of the above.
The virtual pooja or hawan would be performed by the priest in the sacred cave by pronouncing the name and “gotra” of the devotee as well as the chanting of “mantras and shlokas”.
Devotees would be allowed to enter an online virtual room through the Jio meet app, where they would have a special virtual pooja and holy darshan “lingam” of ice on their behalf.
