The Sri Srinivasa Perumal temple is one of the ancient temples located in Little India on Serangoon Road,in Singapore. The temple was built by leaders like Mr Arunachala Pillay, Mr Cootaperumal Pillay, Mr Ramasamy Pillay, Mr Appasamy Pillay, Mr Chockalingam Pillay and Mr Ramasamy Jamidar, all of them are working with the East India Company, planned to build a Hindu temple for Vishnu (Vaishnavite) worshipper. In 1851 the temple for built with 2 acres land, 2 woods and 24 poles from the East India Company for 26 rupees and 8 annas. The original the remained till 1950. In 1952 the temple was rebuild and the temple frequently developed and added all other facilities for the devotes by step by step.

Thevaram Classes for adults and childrens are organised by Sri Sivan Temple inside the temple compound for free. One has to register for the free Thevaram Classes

Temple Dress Code:
Men: Shirt, Kurtha, Veshti, Trousers Traditional head wear is allowed.
Ladies: Traditional sarees with blouse, Punjabi kurtha with pyjama and dupatta are allowed, Working dresses of ankle length are also allowed.
