Istakameswari Devi temple is located in a dense forest about 20 km from Srisailam. It is an ancient temple that dates back to the 8th century. By having the goddess darshan here, one can make any wish that comes true. The most striking feature of this temple is the idol of Goddess Ista Kameshwari Devi. The forehead of the Goddess is as soft as human skin in spite of the fact that the idol is made up of stone.
Devotees are having darshan of goddess from the year 1990. The darshan has been stopped three years back.
From November 18, 2021, the darshan has started. Devotees are allowed only in Jeeps.
Timings: Tickets will be available at Sikaharam from 9:00 am to 11:00 am
And the trip concludes before 2:00 pm.
Now at present per person, 1000 rupees are charged.
Only 15 Jeeps are allowed per day.
