17-03-2016, Tirumala: Today a trail test run has been tried by the TTD officers for the Swamy Pushkarini float festival in Tirumala Hills. Tirumala annual teppotsavams are going to start from 19 March 2016. This ia a usual practice carried out before annual teppotsavams
60 peoples will travel on the float which floats on the Swamy Pushkarini water which travels half km speed per hour. Srivari sevakulu and expert swimmers took part in the test trail and the trail was a success.
VGO Mr.Ravinder Reddy, AVSO Mr.Mallikarjuna, EE Temple Mr.Prasad Babu, EE Waterworks Mr.Narasimhamurthy, DyEE Mr. Rajasekhar and other TTD temple officers were also present at the test trail.
The Teppotsavams will be for 5 days which start from on 19th march on Ekadasi day and ends on Phalguna Pournami 23rd march.
