The Union Minister of State for Tourism, Culture ; Civil Aviation Dr.Mahesh Sharma along with his family members has offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara on Sunday morning.
Dr.Mahesh Sharma had his family was welcomed by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams Joint Executive Officer Mr.K.S.Sreenivasa Raju and the temples priests and went inside the sanctum sanctorum.
The Temple Priests explained the importance of Srivaru and his jewels to the Union Minister of the nation inside the sanctum sanctorum. The minister spent some time before Srivaru by praying. The minister was accorded Veda sirvachanam by the tirumala temple priests at Ranganayakula Mandapam.
JEO Mr.K.S.Sreenivasa Raju has presented Lord’s silk vastram, prasadams and lamination of Lord Venakteswara to the Minister.
DyEO Mr.Rama Rao, OSD Mr.Damodar, Temple Priests and others were present.
