What items are Prepared for Prasadam at Tirupati Balaji Temple?

Answer: Offerings to the Lord Venkateshwara are called Bala Bhogam, Raja Bhogam and Shayana Bhogam.

Warm Milk along with Butter (Navaneetham) in the early morning is given during Suprabhatha Seva.

Other Prasadh offered to Lord Venkateshwara at Thirumala are Big Laddus, Vada, Jaggery Pongal, Ven Pongal (Ghee & Pepper Pongal), Dhaddhojanam (Curd Rice), Tamarind Rice (Pulihora / Puliyodharai), Fruits salad, Payasam, etc.

Three laddu Varieties are available in Balaji temple they are:

  1. Proktham Laddu is small in size and weighs 175 grams.
  2. Asthanam Laddu is prepared only for special festivals. This Laddu is large in size and weighs 750 grams. More cashews, almonds and saffron strands are added.
  3. Kalyanotsavam Laddu This laddu is distributed to devotees who participate in Kalyanotsavam and in Arjitha sevas.

Sri Venkateswara Annaprasadam:

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam, board committee launched the Annadanam program. The TTD provides free food services for all pilgrims. This scheme runs with donations from the devotees and donors.

Tirumala Balaji Free Meals Timings and Menu :

Morning: Tiffin from 9.00 AM to 10.30 A.M – Upma / Pongal / Vermicelli upma along with Chutney are Served.
Afternoon: Lunch From 10.30 AM to 4.00 PM – Chakkara Pongal, Curry, Chutney, Rice, Sambar, Rasam & Buttermilk are Served.
Evening: Dinner From 5.00 PM to 10.30 PM – Chakkara Pongal, Curry, Chutney, Rice, Sambar, Rasam & Buttermilk are Served.
