Appalayagunta Prasanna Venkateswara Temple 2022 Brahmotsavams Dates

Appalayagunta Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy Brahmotsavams will Commence on 9th June. Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy Temple is a Vishnu temple located at Appalayagunta, Tirupati, Chittoor District. Appalayagunta is just 16 km from the temple city Tirupati. Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy is in a standing position with his right hand in Abhaya posture and he is the presiding deity in this Vaishnavite Temple.

TTD will host Appalayagunta Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy Temple’s annual Brahmotsavams from June 9th to 18th June 2022. As part of the festivities, TTD is organizing the sacred feast of Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam on June 6 and Ankurarpanam on the evening of June 9, followed by the Dwajarohanam ceremony on June 10. As part of the festivities of the nine-day event, TTD will observe Tiruchi utsava in the morning and evening and Asthanam at the temple premises instead of Vahana Sevas.

Other important events during the Brahmotsavams include Srivari Arjita Kalyanotsavam on the evening of June 13, Snapana Tirumanjanam of the Utsava idols of Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy and his wives with Sri Sudarshan Chakrathalwar on the morning of June 18 followed by Chakrasnanam. Later, the Dwajavarohanam will take place to announce the conclusion of the annual nine-day Brahmotsavams.
