Pattanakkad is a town located at Cherthala Taluk, Alappuzha in Kerala. It is famous because the temple of Pattanakkad Mahadeva is one of 108 temples that would have been built by the powerful warrior Parshurama. There is also a beautiful tourist beach Andhakaranazhy near the town about 4 km from Poonamveli and the temple is built in Kerala style architecture.
