About Kala Bhairava:

The Trinity of the Hindu Gods, namely Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva, is associated with creation, preservation and destruction, respectively. Bhairava, the rather fierce manifestation of Lord Shiva, is commonly associated with this aspect of annihilation. Native to ancient Hindu legends, the much-feared form of Bhairava is worshipped by Hindus as well as Jains and Buddhists. He is also worshipped in this form across India, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Tibetan.
