Shiva-Vishnu Temple will be celebrating Sri Meenakshi Sundareshwara Kalyanotsavam following the tradition of the annual Chittirai festival at Madurai Meenakshi Temple. At Madurai Temple, the festival begins on the Shukla Panchami day of the Tamil month Chittirai. The eighth day of the festival witnesses the coronation of Goddess Meenakshi, and the tenth day (Chitra Poornima) marks the wedding of Goddess Meenakshi and Lord Sundareshwara.

Daily Abhishekams for Goddess Parvathi will be performed from Sunday, April 30, 2017 – Tuesday, May 9, 2017. Sri Meenakshi Sundareshwara Kalyanotsavam will be performed on Saturday, May 13, 2017. Please come with your family and friends to participate in this auspicious event and receive divine blessings.

8) Abhishekam every day for 10 days Sunday, April 30, 2017 – Tuesday, May 9, 2017 and Monthly Abhishekam for Goddess Parvathi for one year $ 501.

9) Grand Sponsorship: All Sri Meenakshi Sundareshwara Kalyanam events. Grand Sponsors are entitled to Weekly Abhishekam of Goddess Parvathi (every Friday) for one year. $ 1116.

10) Sponsor a Parking Space (All Grand Sponsorship benefits and donor or donor’s family names will be written on plaques determined by HCCC management). $ 5001.

11) Sponsor a Room (All Grand Sponsorship benefits and donations will be accepted from 10 donors of $10,000 each for each room in Administration building and Kitchen Complex, with donor or donor’s family names will be written on plaques determined by HCCC management. Donors of $10,000 or above in a calendar year are eligible for HCCC Steering Committee Membership, as per By-laws. All donors are eligible for donor recognition according to Temple’s Donor Recognition Policy) $ 10,001.

Note:- Donations of $301 or above are included Monthly Goddess Parvati Abhishekam sponsorship for one year.

Vastra Sponsorship for Goddess Parvati (Vastra Samarpana) Details Shiva Vishnu Temple will be providing Pure Silk Sarees for a suggested donation of $201 for devotees to offer to Goddess Parvati during Abhishekams from Sunday, April 30, 2017 through
Tuesday, May 9, 2017. Devotees will be able to select the vastrams (Pure Silk Sarees) at Front office and indicate preferred date for adorning the vastram on the deity. Devotees can receive the saree back either on Kalyana Utsavam Day (Saturday, May 13, 2017), or any mutually convenient day. Please sponsor Vastra Samarpana as early as possible as there is limit on sarees to be adorned on the deity on any given day.
