About Hindu Center of Virginia:
1) Richmond Temple located at 6051 Springfield Road, Glen Allen, Virginia 23060.
2) Founded in 1981, the main objectives of the Hindu Center are to organize and practice religious and cultural activities of value and interest to the Hindu community.
3) The center promotes the teachings and discussions of the religious and cultural heritage of Hinduism.
4) The Center regularly provides funding to various non-profit groups, organizes relief efforts, and participates in community support programs.
5) All religious activities are held in the Richmond Temple and cultural activities in the community hall. Center is Open to All.
6) Puja Services: Hindu Center provides priest services at temple and outside temple. Please see puja services tab for details , and for more details email Puja@hinducenterofvirginia.org
7) Volunteer Activities: Annadhan is most important service offered by temple. Volunteers prepare food in our canteen. Please come forward to help support the canteen and volunteer at our temple. Send email to canteen@hinducenterofvirginia.org
8) Communication: Bharatvani is the temple monthly news letter. Information on all pujas and other activities are shared with the community thru newsletter. Also, if you would like to place an advertisment or questions regarding Bharatvani, please email Bharatvani@hinducenterofvirginia.org
9) Community Hall: The temple rents out the community hall (with stage ), upstairs library room and classrooms (in the temple basement) to the community for its approved activities. Please email to: acilities@hinducenterofvirginia.org for questions regarding renting the facilities.

The Hindu Center of Virginia encourages all community members to avail the well equipped classrooms in the temple as well as the community hall with kitchen for your needs as well as the needs of any organization you are part of.
Facilities are available on rental basis to conduct language classes, dance classes, meetings, private functions such as birthdays and marriages as well as other religious ceremonies with priest service.
Food is available on the weekends from the temple canteen for your functions.
