About Hindu Temple of The Woodlands:
Founded in 2005 with land purchased the same year, the Hindu Temple at The Woodlands houses Ganesha, Shiva, Balaji, MahaLakshmi and Radha Krishna. It is located on South Forestgate and Woodlands Parkway. Because of its location in The Woodlands, in a forested area adjacent to Forestgate Park, one of the hundred parks at The Woodland, this is one of the most beautiful temples in the area. Future developments for the temple are Yagna’s facilities, classrooms and library, a spacious lobby and a kitchen. HTW has an active educational program and has organized several festivals. Community service is also part of the temple mission.
