Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple or Khammam Chinna Tirupathi or Telangana’s Chinna Tirupati is an ancient Sri Vishnu Temple located in Jamalapuram Village, Khammam, Telangana state. The presiding deity is Lord Balaji and is said to be a Swayambhu (self-manifested). The temple also boasts Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Temple, Lord Shiva Temple, Sri Ganesh Temple, Sri Anjaneya Swamy temple, Sri Alivelu Amma Vari Temple and Ayyappa Swamy Temple. The Jamalapuram Venkateshwara Swamy Temple is located in a village, so accommodation is not available.

Jamalapuram Balaji Temple History:
The foundation of the temple, Jabali Maharshi, is a master of Sri Rama. He reaches Jamalapuram and is attracted by the magnificence of nature. So he stayed and repented before the Lord at Soochi Giri Hill. One fine day, Lord Vishnu stood before his eyes and favored him. As the priest wanted, the Lord becomes an icon instead of the symbol of Sri Venkateswara.
After quite a while, the individual called Yagnanarayana Sharma took a rest here while his tour to Kashi and felt a mysterious slope. He then realised the connection with these slopes and trees each night. Yagnanarayana thought he had some association with this place and chose to be live for quite a while.
Lord Venkateswara came as a kid and played with cattlemen every day. If anyone asks his name and place, the kid answers your signature is my name, and your location is my place. Yagnanarayana Sharma got to know that child, and he reached the highest point of the slope to think about him. There he discovered Lord Venkateswara’s icon and compositions on the stone.
