The Sri Kasi Vishweshwara temple at Kalabgoor village in Medak district is famous for the great architectural skills put in the layout and the style. Lord Shiva is the presiding deity in the temple. This ancient temple is situated at a distance of about 4 kms from the old bus station of Sangareddy town.
The temple is an ancient one and is worshipped by the devotees all over the state of Telangana. There are also two other famous temples in the same premises. Sri Anantha Padmanabha Swamy Temple and Sri Venugopala Swamy Temple are the other two temples existing in the same premises. Together these are known as Trikootaalayamu. Sri Venugopala Swamy Temple is present on the north side of the temple. It is understood that the temple is constructed on the water stream flowing from Kasi. The Sri Kasi Vishweshwara Temple is on the southern side of the area. The structure of the temple is very much similar to that of the Thousand Pillars Temple of Warangal. Besides the three temples, there is also a small area Garbhagudi of Sri Venugopala Swamy temple that is worth visiting. It is said that if a coin is thrown in this area, it gives the sound of coin being dropped in the water.
The structure of the temple resembles a stepped pyramid with Shikharas all around it. The ritual practiced to this day have been supportive in retaining the culture and heritage of the state. The rituals and pujas are performed daily. Devotees participate in these rituals with great devotion and commitment.
The Kakatiyas are believed to have constructed this temple. Evidences are found about the period of its construction. It is believed to be constructed during the 11th century AD. The architecture of Kasi Vishweshwara temple resembles Thousand Pillars Temple of Warangal. The art on these pillars are have been examples of great sculptural skills. These have been carved with utmost care and precision to give the best look.

The State Transport buses can be availed from Hyderabad to Sangareddy which run at frequent intervals.
One may also go to the temple via Patancheru. This is also a point for reaching the destination.
From Sangareddy Old Bus station, one needs to hire either an auto or a private cab to reach the temple.
