I extol Kamaksi, Who is a dweller of Srikancipuram, Who is venerable, Who is situated in the middle of Sricakra, Who is a benefactor, Whose crest is beautiful and enticing, Who is decked by saffron attire, Whose twin feet are worshipped by Laksmi, Sarasvati and Saci, Whose smile is enticing, Whose radiance is beautiful, Who is compassion personified, Who possesses fortune, Who is Para, and Who is (my) Istadevata. || 1 ||

I extol Kamaksi, Whose shoulders have a necklace of pearls, Who is moon-faced, Who is dear to Sambhu, Who is beautiful, Who is Sarvaṇi, Whose hands are adorned with a bow and an arrow, Whose face is round like the cold-rayed moon, Who is a relisher of songs sung with lute (viṇa), Who is resplendent like lightening, Who is compassion personified, Who possesses fortune, Who is Para, and Who is (my) Istadevata. || 2 ||
