Mechanisation of Sanitation Soon Health Officer in Tirumala

The management of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam has taken special measures to mechanize the sanitation and the garbage removal and the other services that are provided for cleaning and in promoting a healthy and a clean environment to all the pilgrims and also to maintain a peaceful and energetic ambience on the hill Tirumala, said Dr Sermista, Health Officer of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam.

Abode of Lord Venkateswara -2016:
“WE have taken all the required measures to keep the premises of the temple and the hill and the travelling path clean and also green during the days of brahmotsavas as well as the remaining days. This is to make tirumala as the best example for the pilgrim centers in the world. We have made all the arrangements to maintain a healthy environment and we have recruited more than 700 workers other than the total 2500 staff that are permanent are all working together to make barhmotsavas a healthy success, said the health officer Sri Dr S Sermista.

POTU and MTVAC Cleaned with Vaccum Cleaners and Scrubbers:
The health officer Sri Dr S Sermista said that all the devotees are served with tested water that is tested in the food lab that is located on the side of the Goshala and the jala prasadam that is distributed is tested from 30 different location from which the pilgrims are supplied. We are using scrubbers and vacuum cleaners to clean the Pothu and the largest kitchen the the anna praasadam complex and also the vaikuntam queue complex two times a month.

“Tirumala is currently adjudged as the cleanest pilgrim centers and even the our honorable Prime Minister Narender Modiji has paid accolades to Tirumala for its clean and inexperienced geographical environment that has dolled up our spirit and at an equivalent time has magnified responsibility on our shoulders”, she extended.

Random Checking of Food Samples:
The health officer also said that we are trying all our best to make sure that every food item that is prepared in the kitchen are all safe and healthy and if we find any kind of adulteration and any preparation of food item using any raw material that is contaminated or any used oil or any used food then we will be taking all the action that is required to terminate the worker and also to stop the preparation until we come to know about the adulteration done. If any of the staff is found to be doing these then we will be penalizing them with an amount of about Rs.10,000 to Rs.50,000 and the collected amount will be sent to the hundi as Srivari kanuka.

Special Arrangements for Garuda Seva Day:
Garuda seva is considered as the biggest day in the brahmotsavas and lakhs of people will be attending this and the TTD management has taken all steps to make it success. The health officer said that we have arranged about 4 lakh water packets for drinking and two lakhs of butter milk packets. All these packets are supplied in the four mada streets during the eve by all the staff and the srivari sevakas. Additionally five bathrooms are constructed permanently to the already available five bathrooms along the galleries. So this will be comfortable for all the pilgrims that are sitting for hours in the galleries.
