Sahasra Deepalankara seva: Sahasra Deepalankara (1000 Diyas decoration) seva is the only daily seva that is performed outside the temple. The seva is performed in the Unjal mandapam located on the southeastern corner of the Srivari Temple every day evening at 5.30 pm. Sri Malayappa Swami along with Sridevi and Bhudevi is seated in an unjal in the midst of the lamps and after the Sahasra Deepalankarana seva, lord Venkateshwara and his consorts are taken on a procession along the four mada streets surrounding the temple, before he is taken inside the temple complex.
