Tirumala Golden Chariot Procession

On the occasion of Vaikuntha Ekadasi Golden Chariot Procession was carried out with grandeur at Tirumala on Thursday.

Thousands of women pulled the Golden chariot chanting aloud “Govinda Govinda”. The entire premises of Tirumala echoed with the “Govinda Namas”. The devotees competed to pull the mammoth chariot with religious ecstasy.

Tirumala Tirupati Devastanam Specified Authority Chairman Sri J.C. Sharma, executive officer Sri Samba Siva Rao, junior executive officer Tirumala Sri K.S. Sreenivasa Raju and other officers, took part in this fete which took place inbetween 9 am and 10 am.
