On Vaikunta Ekadasi or Mukkoti Ekadasi, Tirumala Srivari temple will be decorated with flowers and lighting. Sarva Darshan and Special Entry Darshan ticket holders will have Darshan after VVIP Darshan in the early hours. Devotees will enter Vaikunta Dwaram after Lord Venkateswara Swamy Darshan.
Vaikunta Dwaram will not be open all year round, except during this auspicious period. Hence, a high fever will be observed these days due to its importance. It is believed that those who will have Vaikunta Dwara Darshanam during Vaikunta Ekadasi will get Moksham. Vaikunta Dwaram is considered the “gate to paradise”.
Special entrance tickets for Darshan will be released either in the week of December last week or 2022 January 1st week. Devotees of SRIVANI Trust donation can also have Darshan on this special day, but it could be Maha Laghu Darshan, which is similar to Darshan of Rs.300. A Special Vaikunta Ekadasi pass will be issued for all VVIP who have Darshan in the early hours.

Lord Malayappa Swamy will ride in Swarna Rathotsavam, Vaikunta Dwara Darshan and Rapathu Utsavam are the activities on Vaikunta Ekadasi Day.
Srivari Chakrasnanam before Sunrise, Vaikunta Dwara Darshan and Bhogi Theru are the activities on Vaikunta Dwadasi Day
In 2021, Vaikunta Dwara Darshan was available for 10 days. 2022 duration of Vaikunta Dwara Darshan dates could be announced after the TTD board meeting in December.

- Free Darshan Tickets are issued only Online.
- Special Entry Darshan Under the Virtual Seva Category is issued only Online.
- VIP Break Darshan Under the SRIVANI Trust Donation Scheme is issued only Online.
- Special Passes will be given to VVIPs who come in person. No Online only Offline.
Note: VIP Recommendation letters will not be allowed during this period.
