2021 Balalayam Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple Tirupati:
TTD is holding a traditional Balalayam program at Tirupati Sri Govindaraja swamy Temple from September 9th to 13th. This ritual is observed in front of the golden cord of the copper plates of the temple Gopuram. As part of the festivities, on September 8th, the rituals of Acharya Ritwik Varanam, Senadhipati utsavam, Vastu Homam and Ankurarpanam will be performed in the early hours. The balalaika is performed at the Kalyana Mandapam where daily rituals are performed for the main deities to facilitate the completion of the golden lacing work from September 14 until May 2022.
Balalayam Festivals are
September 9th: Akalmasha Homas, Raksha Bhandanam in the morning, Kumbha sthapana and vaidika programs at yagashala after brining kumbhas of Sri Govindarajaswamy, his vahana, Vishwaksena, Jaya, Vijaya, Garuda, Dwaja Sthambham, Bali peetham etc.
September 10: Netra Unmilanam, Pancha gavyadivssan, in the morning, and other vaidika programs in the evening.
September 11: Ksheeradivasam and others
September 12: Jaladhivasam, Sri Govindaraja swamy Bala bimbosthapana, Bimba Vastu, Maha Shanti Abhishekam. Later in the evening Sayanadhivasam and Vishesha Homam.
September 13: Purnahuti, Divya Prabandam, Shattumora after Balalaya samprokshana in Tula lagnam.
Later in the afternoon Nityakatla Kainkaryams, and Vaidika programs at yagashala in the evening.
