The Temple administration of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams has initiated its copy sanctuary of Srivaru close to Pushkar Ghat in Rajamundry in Municupal Grounds on a stupendous religious note on Monday regarding the Godavari Maha Pushkaram 2015 which will begin from Tuesday onwards.
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams Executive Officer Dr D.Sambasiva Rao , Joint Executive Officer Mr.KS Sreenivasa Raju took part in this fete which started with Maha Samprokshana programme between 9:07 am to 10:30 am.
Talking on this event, the EO said, darshan for pilgrims will be formally open in the sanctuary set up by TTD in Rajamundry from July 13 onwards till the end of Godavari Maha Pushkaram. “We have designed the sanctuary as an imitation to Tirumala sanctuary and expecting around 75000 for each day to have darshan here. Like in Tirumala we have set up layered framework here for the free development of pilgrims. We have additionally made extensive security game plans with the backing of neighborhood volunteers to see that no untoward episode happens. The flower and photograph expos and electrical enlightenment will be real fascination for pushkaram separated from the different social projects by distinctive undertakings of TTD in Subramanya Maidanam and Arts College Grounds”, he said.
Later the JEO said, the sanctuary started today on this sacrosanct land according to the standards of Vaikhanasa Agama. We request the travelers additionally to coordinate with TTD staff towards smooth stream of the darshan. Pulihora, Chakkara Pongali will be distributed to the devotes after darshan”, he said.
Rajamundry administrator Sri G.Bucchaiah Chowdary said, TTD has made extensive courses of action for the mega religious occasion. “The mammoth movement by an extraordinary organization like TTD demonstrates its dedication towards conservation, advancement and insurance of Hindu Sanatana Dharma”, he complimented.
SHOBHA YATRA OF SACRED WATERS: Earlier for this ritual the Archakas brought the sacred waters from river Godavari and performed the pious religious activity. The holy eaters were filled in Kalasas amidst the chanting of Veda mantras and the the holy water is sprinkled in and around the temple premises.
Local MP Mr.Murali Mohan, Rajamundry(Rural) legislator Mr.G.Bucchaiah Chowdary, Rajamundry Urban MLA Mr.A.Satyanarayana, Mayor Smt P.Rajaniseshasai, TTD board members Dr Hariprasad, Smt K.Lalitha Kumari and Smt Suchitra Ella took part in the programme at Godavari Maha Pushkaram.
