It is generally believed that performing bad activities during Yamagandam schedules, supports evil to the doer.
Yamagandam is the time of day during which Kethu reigns for an hour and a half at various times of the day during the week. The Kethu or Yamagandam period changes daily, depending on the day of the week. Yamagandam time also depends on the time of sunrise and sunset.
Any unwanted activity should be avoided during Yamagandam. Any wrong action done at Kethu kalam or at Yamagandam time will bring bad results to the doer.
This rule affects all beings.
You may have noticed that all planets other than Rahu and Kethu rule the assigned day of the week. Only Rahu and Ketu have no day for them. Instead, they rule every day, but for an hour and a half every day. Yamagandam’s schedules occur today and every day, between sunrise and sunset, and changes are based on the time of sunrise and sunset.
Yamagandam time changes every day. So Sunday Yamagandam Time is different from Monday Yamagandam time. Similarly, Wednesday Yamagandam time is different from Thursday Yamagand time. The time starts at 6:30 AM.
Yamagandam Timings Calculation:
Yamagandam is calculated by dividing the hours of the day (from sunrise to sunset) into 8 sections, where each day has a duration of 1.5 hours attributed to the son of the Sun planet “Yama”.
