Chennai Umbrellas Presented to Sri Tirumala Venkateswara Swamy Temple 2016

The utsava murthy idol of Sri Lord Malayappa Swamy during the Garuda seva day is decorated with colorful umbrellas and these umbrellas are donated this year by the Hindu Dharmarta Samiti of Tamil Nadu were received by the TTD management. These are decorated with different colors and flowers and are used to decorate the god.

All these umbrellas were brought by the head of the trust Sri RR Gopalji and warmly welcomed by the officials of TTD. Total eleven umbrellas were brought and among them two of the umbrellas are donated for the decoration of the temple of Sri Padmavathi Ammavari and the nine remaining umbrellas were brought for the decoration of the Lord Venkateswara Swamy temple known as Srivari temple in Tirumala.

The umbrellas that are ready were taken around the temple in mada streets and then they will be taken into the Srivari Temple and then they will be used for decorating the deity on Garuda seva day for the vahanam.

All the members of TTD and the trust board members Sri Krishna Murthy, Sri DP Anantha and the deputy executive officer of the temple Sri Rama Rao and other remaining officials took part in this.
