Sri Karya Siddhi Vinayaka Swamy Temple is situated at Chodavaram, Visakhapatnam District, Andhra Pradesh. Lord Vigneshwara is the main deity with a glorious history of 200 years. Chodavaram Ganesh Temple is considered one of the two self-originating Vinayaka temples in Andhra Pradesh and the second is Sri Varasiddi Vinayaka Swamy at Kanipakam, Chittoor District.

Chodavaram Vigneshwara Swamy Temple History:
This temple was constructed during the reign of the Chalukya kings in 1200 AD. According to local folklore, 200 years ago, that is, in 1850 AD, the villagers discovered the idol and tried to move it to the nearby Shiva temple. The villagers could not dig up the idol in its entirety because the trunk was so long. After a rigorous effort, they stopped exploring the base. The place where the villagers made the last trails he named Enugu Bodhe, which now bears the name of Patha Cheruvu. 
This temple was built during the reign of the Chalukya dynasty in 1200 AD. Later this temple was renovated in 1956 AD. This is the second temple AP where Lord Vinayaka is believed to be Swayambhu. Worshipping the deity yields good results in the work. It is said that hurdles will be removed and will be blessed with good fortune.
