About Hindu Temple of Champaign:
The Hindu Temple at Champaign-Urbana was inaugurated in early 2013 to meet the devotional, cultural and spiritual needs of the Hindu community in central Illinois.
The temple observes all major Hindu functions throughout the year, as well as the daily pooja, abishekam, alankaram for the deities performed by the priest with the help of temple volunteers on auspicious days.
The Hindu temple welcomes all devotees to experience peace and sanctity in the temple.
The main deities of the temple are the goddess Saraswathi, the lord Ganapathy, the goddess Durga, the lord Siva and the lord Venkateshwara Swamy.

Please take note of some parking tips. On the days of events where many devotees visit the site, we request you to cooperate with the volunteers who help with parking. You may need to park in the gravel space. Please follow their instructions so that entry and exit are simple. Please do not park on Mattis Avenue as it is a busy street.
