Dharmapuri Laxmi Narasimha Swamy Temple Timings, History, Daily Schedule

Dharmapuri is a village and Mandal in Karimnagar district, Telangana. This village has acquired spiritual importance due to the presence of the sanctuary, dedicated to Lord Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. The temple has two different idols of Lord Narasimha Swamy. The oldest of these idols is called “Pata Narasimha Swamy”, which means the oldest Narasimha Swamy and the temple that was later created is called “kotha Narasimha Swamy”, which means the new one.

Dharmapuri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple is one of the largest Vedic Brahmin settlements in the state. Each year, during the months of March and April, devotees of the Lord gather to celebrate the famous Dharmapuri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Aalaya Jatara. In December the town gets busy for the Mokshada Ekadashi celebration.
