Morning: 5:00 AM to 12:00 Noon.
Evening: 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM.
On Sundays the temple will be open till 1.00 PM.
In Mannarasala Sree Nagaraja Temple, Haripad all the poojas were performed by a brahmin women who is called as Mannarasala Amma. Here the celebrations, beliefs are different when compared to other temples.
Puranas says that Muthassan had given some rights and directions to his mother before left for celler. He asked her mother that she should offer the worship to him. The men of the family will be called ‘Vasukisridevi”. He reminded that the rituals and customs suggested by Parasurama are inviolable.

From the beginning of Magha to the end of Sivaratri.
Thiruvonam in the month of Chingam.
From the 1st to the `12th of Karkitakam.
Twelve days before Ayilyam in Kanni and Tulam.
About Valia Amma Samadhi:
When Valia Amma dies the cremation ceremony was very different to the other family members. Amma’s dead body was kept in the four chambered house.
The ‘Samadhi’ will be in the southern hall of the four-chambered house. The cremation ceremony of Valia Amma will be held in a particular place in between temple and the House. Only milk and fruit’s are offered in the temple on these days. The doors will be closed immediately after offering nivedyam to the main deity, the doors will be opened the next day only. This process will be repeated for three days.
Mannarasala Sree Nagaraja Temple Former Valia Amma
On 24th October 1993 at the age of 91 the brahmacharini Valia Amma passed away. Savitri Antharjanam, was born on Anizham Star in the Month of Tulam 1079, and her wedding was on 18th of Chingam 1092. She assumed the position of Valia Amma on 28th Tulam 1093 and started Nagaraja pooja on 23rd Makaram 1094. Satabhishekam Celebrations for completing 80 years celebrated with great ritual and splendor manner on 4th November 1986. When she attained Samadhi, many leaders and important personalities came from different places to pay homage to Mannarasala.

Uma Devi Antharjanam is the present Valia Amma, on 24th October 1993 she was became Valia Amma at the age of 64. She is the wife of the late Shri. M.G.Narayanan Namboothiri.
