Lord Shiva is the Primary deity in Vadakkumnathan Temple. Vadakkumnathan Shiva Temple is one of the oldest Shiva temple located in Anchuvilakku, Thrissur, Kerala. The temple is in Kerala style Architectural. Thrissur Pooram is the main festival celebrated in this temple in a grand manner. A large white bullock Nandikeswara can be seen in this temple.
The specialty of this temple is the devotees can have darshan of Kashi Vishwanath of Kasi, Lord Chidambaranathar of Chidambaram, Ramanathaswamy of Rameswaram.
