About New Goloka Temple :

ISKCON NC invites you to visit the temple and experience the transcendental happiness and tranquility for which the temple is famous. Every week the temple is visited by many new people who come to take the blessings of the amazing Lord RadhaGolokananda and feel ecstatic!

The temple is famous for the opulent prasadam of the Sunday vegetarian feast which takes place every week at 16:00. The temple is open every day from 4.30 AM. in the morning for the services of Lord Sri SriRadhaGolokananda, which includes abishek (bathing), dressing, beautifying, cooking, offering boga and aroti 5 times a day. Deities are offered daily garlands of fresh flowers artistically designed to match their outfits.

There is at least one festival held each month in honor of the appearance of various incarnations or expansions of Krishna. The temple also supports several programs, such as the weekly Free prasadam offer (sanctified food) to students at Duke University and the University of North Carolina, Bhakti Yoga Program at UNC, Krishna West at Chapel Hill, Transcendental Book Distribution and Harinaams, Bhagavad Gita Study Home Programs and more.

We distribute prasadam after temple services daily 3 times a day and special meals in the Sunday Feast program. Anyone who enters our temple receives a free plate of vegetarian food, no matter the fund. This program helps to feed the rich, the poor and does not discriminate against anyone and is open to all.

From I-85 Westbound:

Get off exit #164 of Interstate 85.2.
Go south 1/4 mile towards the MacDonalds.
Turn right on Oakdale (across the street from the Citgo station).
When Oakdale ends turn left on to Orange Grove Road.
Take immediate next right onto New Grady Brown Road.
Follow Grady Brown until it ends.
Turn right on Dimmocks Mill Rd. Continue on Dimmocks Mill Road.
1/3 of a mile after Dimmocks Mill Rd goes over Interstate 40 you will see a geodesic dome on your left.
You are now at ISKCON. There will be a sign “New Goloka” and the mailbox# is 1032 Dimmocks Mill Road.

From I-40 Westbound:

Get off exit #261.
Go north 1 mile towards the Citgo gas station.
Turn left on Oakdale (across the street from the Citgo station).
When Oakdale ends turn left on to Orange Grove Road.
Take immediate next right onto New Grady Brown Road.
Follow Grady Brown until it ends.
Turn right on Dimmocks Mill Road. Continue on Dimmocks Mill Road.
1/3 of a mile after Dimmocks Mill Road goes over Interstate 40 you will see a geodesic dome on your left.
You are now at ISKCON. There will be a sign “New Goloka” and the mailbox# is 1032 Dimmocks Mill Road.

The back way from I-40/85 Eastbound :

1) Get off exit 161, That is the second Efland exit.
2) Take a left. You will go under the bridge and then take the next right onto Ben Johnston Road.
3) Follow Ben Johnston for about 2mi. You will see a bridge on your right.
4) Take a right onto the bridge.
5) You are now on Dimmocks Mill Road.
6) At the top of the hill, you will see a geodesic dome (ISKCON) on your right. You are now at ISKCON. There will be a sign “New Goloka” and the mailbox# is 1032 Dimmocks Mill Road.
