Rahu in Your Life | Role and Importance of Rahu in Astrology

Science of astrology mentions there are nine planets that decide course of human life. Definitely, the heavenly bodies have an effect on one’s life. This well accepted by modern science of today.

Among these nine planets, two planets are Rahu and Ketu. They are called shadow planets because they are not actually real planets. Hence, their way of life can be very confusing for common mankind. However, their result on life is specific. Also, they cause natural unfavourable conditions with very strong control on the birth chart.

Together they form very negative combination called Kaal Sarp Yog. All the seven planets are lined up between Rahu and Ketu. This combined pattern forces one to lead an ordinary life despite being extremely talented and skilled.

The result of Rahu can cause lots of hurdles in life. Where life could have been smooth it is left turbulent and uncertain. However, this does not mean that one should fear Rahu planet. Many people think that negative effects of Rahu are dangerous. There are no remedies for bad results of Rahu but that is incorrect. This negative planet, Rahu, can easily be controlled through sadhanas.

If Rahu is placed in an unfavourable position in one’s birth chart, then Rahu manipulates negatively. There is no spiritual energy in one’s life. Thus, it causes one to face perpetual difficulties, hurdles, obstructions and problems that cannot be overcome.

The result of Rahu cannot be null and void by worshipping him. However, one can enhance one’s spiritual power. Since there is soul’s importance or spiritual power in the sun, it is best to absorb sun’s power. As a result, the negative influence of Rahu can be best neutralised.

Negative influence of shadow planet reveals in many forms. It shows in enemies, failures, disrespect, poverty, diseases and tension. These can be removed from one’s life. One has to follow Sadhana that is based on Surya Vigyan [Science of tapping sun’s energy].

On Sundays try this ritual every morning when the sun is rising. Have a bath and wear clothes that are either red or white. No other colour should be chosen. Sit facing the east on a red mat. Cover a wooden seat with a red cloth. In a copper plate place the Rahu Yantra. One does not have to light any incense or lamp for Sadhana. All one needs to do is try the ritual with full devotion and concentration.

After this, chant the following verse twenty one times:

Vedaahmetam Purusham Mahaant-maaditya-varnnam Tamasah Parastaat.
Tamev Viditvaati Mrityumeti Naanyah Vidhyate-yanaay.

Then chant 21 times of the following Mantra with Hakeek Rosary.

Om Hroum Aryamanne Namah Om

After the Sadhana drop the Yantra and rosary in a river or pond
