Monday to Friday: 6:30 AM to 11:30 AM and 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM Saturday, Sunday and Festivals: 6:30 AM to 12:00 Noon and 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM
This was once a wild hillock with only shepherds,peacock and cows visiting the top. In 1998, people found an Idol of Venugopala Swamy while visiting the hillock. Later on group of devotees joined their hands to pool the resources to complete the temple by 2009.
This is the most ancient temple which was constructed before the formation of Jagitial town. It meant that the temple was constructed centuries ago. Sri Venugopala swamy is the most powerful god in this temple. The god fulfill devotees desires by asking once. This temple was constructed with great architecture. The temple gopura and walls having the sculpture of Dasavataras. There are big dwarapalaka’s statues at the entry of the main temple.
Nearly thousands of devotees are making darshan of Sri Venugopala Swamy daily in this temple. Opposite to Garbhalaya Sri Garuda alvar have been giving darshan to the devotees. There are also sub temples of Sri Vighneswara Swamy and Lord Hanuman in the temple premises.
