Bugga Ramalingeswara Temple 2022 Dasara Navratri Utsavams

Bugga Ramalingeswara Swamy Temple is a famous Shiva temple located on the bank of the Penna River in Tadipatri, a town in Anantpur district, Andhra Pradesh. The Swayambhu ShivLinga, having been enshrined in a continuous small spring, called ‘Bugga’ in Telugu, performs Abhisheka to Shivlinga, hence the temple is known as Bugga Ramalingeswara Swamy Temple and the water is considered very holy. According to legends, the temple was built under the Vijayanagar kings. The temple is estimated to have been built between 1490 and 1509. It is one of the few temples in the district that was ransacked by Muslim armies.

Every year Dasara Navratri is celebrated for 10 days. This year Dasara Navratri Utsavams will start on 26th September and ends on 5th October.Bugga Ramalingeswara Temple
