Temple Committee requests all visitors to preserve the sanctity of the Annavaram area. Suggestions in the form of do’s and don’ts are displayed at various places at Annavaram temple. You are requested to get acquainted with them before you visit temple.
Annavaram Temple Timings: 5.00 am to 9.00 pm.
DO’s:
Devotees are requested to maintain absolute silence and chant Om Sri Satya Devaya Namah, respect co-pilgrims, do pradakshinam before entering the temple, wait in queue with patience, deposit offerings in hundi only and approach Annavaram temple Devasthanam for any enquiries.
DONT’s:
As part of the purity and divinity, devotees are strictly advised to follow the following instructions like don’t enter the temple after consuming non-vegetarian food or consuming liquor, footwear’s are not allowed, do not throw away prasadam or teertham, a member who is prohibited as per custom is not allowed, do not wear flowers as it is meant only for god, do not wear loin cloth, helmet, caps , turbans etc., do not carry weapon, do not spit, chew beetle leaves or evacuate urine, never talk about money wealth and status, neither quarrel nor sleep inside the premises.
