What is Kala Sarpa Dosha?
Kaala Sarpa Dosh is all about a faulty planetary position, with a snake-like formation, found in the person’s natal birth chart. In a dosha like this, the planetary positions are such that Rahu (head of the snake) and Ketu (tail of the snake) happen to fall on the beginning and end of the formation, respectively. There are many other ways by which Kaal Sarpa Yoga can be formed, the moon in the eight houses of the natal chart being one of the ways. The Pooja:
The Rahu Ketu Pooja lasts for 30-40 minutes, and it is always better to get the pooja performed during Rahu kalam. My DOB is 27-03-1985. Time is 9.27AM. Few of the astrologers say that my horoscope is very good whereas few say life is not going to be easy for me. I am employed and is in a good position to run a family, but the marriage proposals doesn’t move on at all. When I checked with some astrologer, he said I have sarpa dosham and have to do poojai for dosha nivaranam. I did the Rahu Kethu Sarpa dosha nivaranam poojai in SriKalaHasthi on Feb 3rd, 2015 between 3 and 4.30PM. There are many discussions going on in this thread and I would like to know if I have these doshams and if this poojai is needed for me.
Also, I have two doubts as below
1)I did Sashtanga namaskaram in front of Kodimaram( front of temple). I was going through some of the vedic sites and they say we shouldn’t offer Sashtanga namaskaram in Naga temple. I do not understand why they say so. Please advise if I shouldn’t have done my namaskaram in Srikalahasthi temple. As I have done it, what will be the effects of it.
2) The person who was coordinating things for us in the temple said that generally the effect of the poojai is felt in 90 days. All these days, the alliances used to get rejected saying that the horoscope doesn’t match. I just wanted to understand if there will be any effects on the horoscope because of this poojai so that the horoscope matches happen.

Both are same and is done at Sree Kalahasthi. Rahu kalam time at 09.00 to 10.30 am is believed to be auspicious. If not possible you can do it on any time on that day in between 06 am till 06 Pm. If you sit in the place where the pooja the poojai will recite the Manthras and in return your should also recite it by sprinkling the Turmeric, Kumkum, Flowers etc over the two Naga Hoods which is given along the ticket. Remember to perform the pooja twice in a year during Uttarayana (mid Jan to mid July) and Dakshinayana (mid July to mid Jan). it is said that gives good result. I think you are afraid about the exams. All you have to do is – Take a bath and Worship Lord Hanuman, also tie a dollar of his idol. Maintain hundred concentration and cleanliness.
