Lord Vishnu is one of the Main deities of Hinduism, and he is the preserver and protector of the universe. He is one among Trimurtis that includes Lord Brahma and Lord Shiva. Vishnu’s worshippers are called as Vaishnava, consider him the greatest god. Sri Vishnu’s wife is Sri Lakshmi Devi, she is the goddess of fortune.
According to puranas he has come to earth in nine Avatars so far, with one yet to come. His most famous avatars are Sri Rama, Parashurama, Narasimha and Sri Krishna. Vishnu is usually shown with light blue skin and four arms. He holds a lotus, gada, conch shankha and chakra in each of four hands.
Lord Vishnu 10 Avatars are Matsya Avatar, Kurma Avatar, Varaha Avatar, Sri Narasimha Swamy Avatar, Vamana Avatar, Parasurama Avatar, Sri Ramachandra Avatar, Sri Krishna Avatar, Buddha Avatar and Kalki Avatar.
