Nagaprathista and Abishekam Details:
Raahu is the king of snakes and he is manifested here with his consorts Naga Valli and Naga Kanni.
Rahu, one among the nine planets and belongs to the race of Snakes deities worshipped Lord Shiva here on Sivarathri day to redeem himself from the curse of Susimba Rishi. Since Lord Rahu worshiped lord shiva here, the place was named Thirunageshwaram.
Sundays are very auspicious for Rahu / Raaghu poojas and devotees perform Paal (milk) Abhishekam to Rahu, who is enshrined with his consorts. The unique feature during the Abishekam (oblation) the color of milk changes from white to blue.
On 16-February-1986, a snake had left its outer skin on Rahu Bhagavan, which is preserved and worshipped till now.
A dip in Soola Theertha is said to cure diseases and give prosperity.
Performing Abishekam on Sunday Rahukalam is believed the most auspicious. If not possible can do on other days also.

Devotees can also do Nagaprathista at this temple.
Thirugana Sambandar, Thiru navukarasu Nayanar, Thiru Sundramoorthi Nayanar, and Arunagiri Swamigal have praised the glory of the Lord. Thirunagechurappuranam which was written by Singaravelu Pillai has all the information about this temple.
Between 1950 A.D and 957 A.D Chola King Kandaraathithya renovated the temple with a granite structure. Seikkizhar constructed the inner part of Mantapa. In the 17th century A.D. Govinda Dikshitar a minister to Acchuthappa Nayak, constructed the outer mantapam.
The beautiful Temple Tank Surya Puskarani was built by king Sambumali. The roof and other renovation work were done by Arimalazham Annamalai Chettiar. Gnaniyar Swamigal, the great siva scholar, who was the priest at the Mutt at Thiruppapuliyur, was born here.
Theertham in Sri Naganathaswamy Temple:-
There are twelve sacred water heads in this place, some of them are Suriya Pushkarani, Gowthama Theertham, Parasara Theertham, Indira Theertham, Prugu Theertham, Kannuva Theertham and Vasishta Theertham. Among these Theerthams Sula Theertham or Suriya Pushkarani is inside the temple compound.

We cannot do your need as we are people belongs near to Sri Kalahasthi Temple and we can give information regarding other Rahu Kethu Parihara sthala only.
The temple contact number is 0435- 2463354. So you can call up and get the required information. There are lots of touts who say you they will make arrangements for the pooja. Do not believe them. You better plan and go in person and do the abhishekam or the pooja if you want to.
You can also perform Ruhra Abhishekam at Sri Kalahasthi. Here is the charges for the abhsheka pooja.
