Seebi was the vanaprastra ashram of Shibi Chakravarthy, the grandson of bhakta Prahlad for whom Narasimha appeared in person to kill his Demon father Hiranyakashipu. There are no visual of Narasimha Swamy and it is the shaligrama that is adored. Subsequently, this Shaligrama was also worshiped by Lord Sri Rama, for begetting issues. It is also said that Chandrahasa, then king of Kuntala, also worshiped Narasimha Shaligrama to remove obstacles.
