TTD Temple News Chandra Grahanam:
The Tirumala Srivari temple doors will be closed on 7th august from 4.30 pm to 8th august 2.00 am on the Chandra Grahan day (lunar eclipse).
On 8th august the Temple doors will be opened for Suddi (cleaning) and punyahavachanam. After cleaning the temple all the regular Poojas and sevas ware performed.
The Chandra Grahanam will take place between 10.52 pm to 12.48 AM (8th august), the temple doors will be closed almost 6 hours prior to the grahanam this is a traditional practice.
On this lunar eclipse day, the main doors of Tirumala Balaji temple will be closed from 4.30pm to 2.00 am the next day.
Kalyanotsavam, Dolotsavam (Ujal Seva), Arjitha Brahmotsavam, Vasanthotsavam and Sahasra Deepalankarana Sevas while Suprabhatam, Thomala sevas are cancelled. Archana will be performed as Ekantham. Pilgrims are asked to take note of these changes.
TTD Temple Closing Timings: From 4.30 pm (7th Aug) to 2.00 am (8th Aug).
Chandra Grahanam Timings: 10.52 pm (7th Aug) to 12.48 AM (8th Aug).
