Nerul Balaji Temple is located in n Nerul, Navi Mumbai, Maharastra. The idol of Lord Sri Balaji (Moolavar) is sculpted at Mahabalipuram, near Chennai, out of a single piece of granite stone, complying with the shilpa shastras. On 18th April 1990 the SLN sabha was inaugurated by Dr. S Venkata Varadan, Director Nehru Planetarium, Mumbai. and soon after a few months i.e. on 4th August 1990, it was registered as a public trust. At first, the sabha decided to build a temple of Lord Venkateshwara. The things worked out fast with the efforts of the members, and on 8th December 1991, on a pre-decided site at Nerul, Bhoomi pooja for the temple was performed by Shankaracharya Swamiji of Kanchi Kamkoti Peetham.

Here Lord Venkateshwara Swamy is with his Consorts Sri Devi and Bhoo Devi, yagna murtis, Bali Bera, Sri Rama – Sita – Lakshman, Sri Krishna – Rukmini and Sri Sudarshana – all traditionally sculpted in Pancha Loha.
