niravadhisansruti neeradhi magna janodharana badhiksham tam
i take refuge in sri chandrashekhara bharathi who is ready to rescue people immersed in the unbounded sea of samsara

शेषाख्येयगुणालिं भूषायितशमदमादिकं वन्दे

I take refuge in him who is adorned in ochre robes ,
with sama and dama as his ornaments , with a benign smile,
granting all wishes and with qualities that can be described by Adishesha

I take refuge in the guru whose speech is like the flood of the ganges ,
whose body is resplendent like gold
who removes the poison of samsara and who bestows all auscpiciousness
करुणामृतसरिदीशं गुरुणाऽपि स्तुत्यमतुलधीयुक्तम्
तरुणारुणवदनाब्जं च नृणां गम्यं तमाश्रये सततम्

i always take refuge in him who is an ocean of mercy who is worshipped by brihaspati who has unsurpassed skills who has a face like that of the early sun and who is worshipped by men
अतिवेलमधुर भाषितमतितरलस्वान्तमखिलवन्ध्यपदम् यतिवर्यम् हृदिकलये मतिमान्ध्यस्याप्नुत्त्ये सततम्

मीलितलोचनयुगलं लालितभुवनत्रयं नामामि सदा
i take refuge in that guru who is always capable of taking care of his devotees
who constantly dwells on the truths of vedanta, who is ever in contemplation and who protects the three worlds

आकाशकेशभक्तं शोकापहमाश्रये गुरूत्तंसम्

i take refuge in that guru who has a lotus like face resembling a full moon
who has credentials for being worshipped by Indra and others, who
always worships Ishwara and who dispels grief
