Ramachandra Perumal Temple or Yoga Ramar temple is located in Nedungundram, Tiruvannamalai District in Tamil Nadu and is dedicated to God Rama Chandra Perumal. Nedungundran Ramachandra Perumal Temple temple was built by Vijayanagara king Sri Krishnadevaraya on sprawling 8 acres of land. This is the biggest temple for Sri Rama. There is an inner passage to go to the sanctum sanctorum as a cave.
The presiding deities are Sri Rama worshipped as Sri Yoga Ramar and Seetha Devi as Sengamalavalli Thayar in this temple. Urchavar is Sri Vijaya Raghava Perumal.
There are several beautiful sannadhis around the main shrine for Chakrathazhwar, Kalyana Venkatesa Perumal, Sanjeevi Hanuman, Azhwars etc. There is a seperate sannadhi for Vykanasachaaryar who gave Vaikaanasa Agama. There is a Koneru named Shiva Theertham. Here Devotees perform Abishek with milk, curd, turmeric cosmetic powder, honey, sandal paste etc. They offer garlands made of Tulsi, Dhoti. Sari, flowers, jewels etc. to mother. Devotees also offer money in the Hundi and also undertake to feed the poor.

10-day Panguni (March-April) Brahmmotsavam and Sri Ramanavami, the 7th-day car festival, 10th-day Indravimana festival are grandly celebrated with the participation of all communities.
On the second day of Pongal, known as Kanum Pongal or Kanu, Sri Ramachandra is taken in procession around the hill passing through Jaganathapuram, Arasambedu, Veppampattu to Villivanam, Chetpet Bazaar and Pazhampettai.
Vaikasi Visakam (May-June) Karudasevai, Sri Krishna Jayanthi are other notable festivals.

Nedungundran Yoga Ramar Temple History:
It is believed that Sri Rama on his way back to Ayodhya after killing Ravana in the Lanka war passed this way and met Sukabrahamma Rishi who was doing penance on the hill here. The sage was happy to have been visited by Sri Rama along with Sita Devi and Sri Lakshmana. The Rishi gave some rare scriptures on palm leaves to Sri Rama who seated between Sita and Lakshmana asked Hanuman to read it out. Hanuman seated in the Padmasana posture read the scripture. According to another story, the sage also taught him the Muktikopanishad here.
